K (Fiance/ Spouse) visa

The main intention of issuing K-Visa is to bring their spouse(husband or wife) to the United States.. This K-Visa is also known as Fiance visa or Spouse visa. Under the U.S.A. laws any foreign nationals living abroad and either you engaged or married to a U.S. citizen then you are eligible for applying the K-Visa/ spouse visa.  Most of the people from all over the world are willing to immigrate from one country to the United States through spouse or fiance Visa. usually people think that it is the very easy way to get U.S. citizenship through spouse/fiance visa. but now a days immigration from Other country to the United States through spouse or fiance is a very tough task.  U.S.A. government had made a strict rules for aliens who wishes to get permanent resident in the U.S. K-Visa is categorized into 4 types. they are k1, k2, k3, k4 visas. K-Visa Categorizes:

These K-visas are issued to two groups of people:

1)K-1 Visas are issued to Fiance of U.S.A. Citizens those who are living out side the United states

2) The eligible criteria for K-3 visas are spouses of U.S. nationals who are living out side the United States.

3) K-2 and K-4 visas issued to the minor children K-visa spouses/ fiances who will accompany them into the U.S.A.



Requirements of a K-Visa:

The various requirements for each type of K-visa are:

K-1 Visa for Fiances of a U.S.A. Citizen:

1) The foreign citizens fiances should be living out side of the United States.

2) The primary thing should be done by the U.S. citizen is to file a petition for alien Fiance with U.S.A. citizenship and immigration Services (USCIS) and have it approved before the   foreign national fiance may have chance to apply for the K-Visa. 

3) The U.S. citizen including with his fiance should remain unmarried until the  arrival of the foreign national fiance in the United States.

4) The U.S.A. citizen and foreign national must have met personally at least once in the Two(2) years before the petition of K-Visa.



K-3 Visa for spouses of a U.S.A. Citizen:

1) The foreign national spouses are must be live out side the United States of America.

2) The U.S.A citizen spouse should file a petition for their alien fiance with the United States citizenship and immigration and Services (USCIS) and have it approved.

3) A petition for an alien relative for the benefit of the of the of spouse should have also filed , along with the petition for an alien fiance.
